CD90背壓式汽輪機(jī)是單級(jí)背壓式汽輪機(jī)，有一個(gè)復(fù)速級(jí)葉輪，葉輪節(jié)圓直徑為1050毫米，該汽輪機(jī)采用的調(diào)速系統(tǒng)是國(guó)際主流的woodward 505數(shù)字式控制器+CPC電液轉(zhuǎn)換器，多閥調(diào)節(jié)，強(qiáng)制潤(rùn)滑，主軸轉(zhuǎn)速為3000轉(zhuǎn)/分，可根據(jù)用戶(hù)要求加裝變速箱實(shí)現(xiàn)變速。該機(jī)型主要特點(diǎn)就是利用低溫低壓低壓差的蒸汽作為汽源拖動(dòng)汽輪發(fā)電機(jī)來(lái)產(chǎn)生電能，其發(fā)電功率最高可達(dá)到3000KW，這種汽輪機(jī)組在國(guó)內(nèi)尚屬首創(chuàng)。
